	The evening was slipping across the room in deep shadow. The sound of the blade as it made its way to a letter was almost silken. The name it spelled was mine, and the tale it told was grim. That night, a door in the darkness was opened. That night of cold left it's curses upon me. Three dark attachments that I have since not shaken. Three dark spirits which haunt me to this day.
